The Trustee

The money that all the members and Tesco put into the Scheme is held in a Trust. This means the money is held separately from Tesco.

The Scheme is run by a group of people called the Trustee, who have a duty to look after the money and make sure that the right benefits are paid to the right people at the right time. Click the link below to find out more.

Scheme documents and financial reports

Every three years, an independent review of the Scheme (sometimes called a Valuation) is carried out to make sure it will continue to be enough to pay all the benefits promised.

The Trustee and Tesco use this review to decide how much Tesco needs to pay into the Scheme in future. This is monitored by the Trustee between each Valuation to make sure it's on track.
